coming from the other side of town: opposite from the suburbs, it's very common that majority of black families originated and were confined to low economic neighborhoods. we've been double cursed to live in this such called " ghetto", "section 8 & welfare" scavenging like stray dogs for the proper resources to make it out however society has betrayed us growing up. betrayed us by the notion that freedom and justice is just that in America, that as a black person skin color plays no role in any industry field you desire to pursue, and that every talented individual given the chance can become a star. yet the corporate controlled media propagates mythical stereotypes to assassinate the black image and despite being overlooked and undervalued as underdogs we still fight.
